Random parings at TT's

If the next TT is to be random match ups with players who might not know each other with lists that are not intended to be played together we might want to set some ground rules.

First is what the FOC should look like.
My vote:

• 1 HQ
• 0-1 Elites
• 1-3 Troops
• 0-1 Fast
• 0-1 Heavy

Just curious how the random pairings will occur, ie. names in a hat, random number generator, ect. Also, how soon before the first round starts will the pairings be announced? Will there be enough time to get to know the other half of the pair before the round starts, see what they brought, discuss tactics, ect? I'm sure there will be plenty of socializing before the event but it wouldn't hurt to have 10-15 mins once the pairings are made to look over each others' armies and use strategery.

I can only think of drawing names from a hat.
No other method comes to mind.

And I would hope that there is time to do a get to know your partner and form a game plan included in the event.
This does however depend on all the players showing up on time.
